Trois Rivieres Trois-Rivières Basse-Terre

Voir le trajet

With its fine black volcanic sand, Grande-Anse in Trois-Rivières is a delight for the eyes. Here, caution is the rule as the water has a wild temperament. In this green setting, in the shelter of carbets (traditional wooden pavillions) or coconut trees and the Saintes in sight, there is little more to do than simply enjoy the moment. This is an area protected by a prefectural biotope protection order (i.e. the habitat is legally protected), so be sure to heed any signs and directives to the letter. Access from the D6 after Trois-Rivières, direction Vieux-Fort.
