Petit Bras David picnic area

A cultural event in Guadeloupe, weekend picnics at the edge of the river are a must for visitors.

The Petit Bras David picnic area is located on the Route de la Traversée (D23), after la maison de la Forêt (forest house) when heading in the direction of Pointe-à-Pitre/Bouillante. To reach it, follow  'la route forestière de Petit Bras David'  to the end of the road (about 500 m from the D23). Among the more private of the picnic areas on route de la Traversée, Petit Bras David is a charming place. The river offers visitors small natural swimming pools to enjoy.

Please note:
The Petit Bras David picnic area is located in the heart of the Guadeloupe National Park. Other than with the barbeques, the use of fire is forbidden.
