Bain chaud de Thomas (hot springs)

Thomas, Bouillante

Voir le trajet

The Thomas hot bath is a fusion of cold salt water from the sea and warm water - sometimes hot, very hot ! - thanks to the Soufriere volcano. It takes only a few moments to feel the heat rising from the ground, crossing sand and pebbles and warming the soles of your feet. The basin, recognizable for its rounded shape, is a huge pool at the edge of the coast.

Directions:
Coming from Basse-Terre towards Sainte-Rose take the RN2, look for the signs indicating Thomas located well before the village of Bouillante and just a few kilometres after Anse à la Barque. Park in the parking lot and take the path on the right. At the top of the small private gate, go down to the sea.
